Remember the wedding I shot just before New Year for Jasmine and Ippo? I had the great pleasure of handing them their Wedding Album last week. Please take a peek - and there’s more on my flickr account too - http://www.flickr.com/photos/davehadley
Hopefully I may be able to show potential clients what I’m able to do for them now. Feels like quite a good achievement :-D
Have been at Focus on Imaging Exhibition in Birmingham for the last couple of days and came away feeling inspired and have plenty of business ideas. Star turn for the exhibition came from James and Ola Jordan who did a routine, chat and photo session for everyone.
Nailed the timing on this one :-D
Thanks James and Ola for giving me some decent photos!
Hooray! In the last week, I have one wedding photography job booked for this summer and another provisional one also booked. A very good start to my business, and I’m delighted!
Going to a Focus on Imaging Photography Exhibition this weekend, and hoping to have a ton of business ideas from that too. Exciting times.
Until then - here’s a photo of the second love of my life……… our cat Hoover! Just because :-)
See you next week!
If you’ve been following me, you’ll know I photographed my first wedding just before the new year. (If not - hit the “Dave Hadley photography blog” link above and scroll down to the bottom of this blog to take a peek) The photo below was taken of me, at the wedding by the Bride herself.
What do you see?
I see two things….
1. A blithering idiot (OK - this may be my insecurities talking)
2. A happy man.
I’m happy here because I’m doing a job I love. I may be new to this whole wedding photographer thingy, but I love doing it. I just wanted to say that this could be you (Well…. maybe not the blithering idiot part). Following your dreams may not be easy, but it sure is rewarding!
Take care peeps,
Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
As it’s valentines day, it would be inappropriate to mention anything other than the love of my life - I’m not apologising for it….. it’s my blog, and I’ll do what I want to with it :-D
I married Kelly three and a half years ago, and I never, and will never regret that decision. Without her love and support, I’ve no idea where I would be, and I certainly wouldn’t be chasing my photography dreams, so you can thank her for this!
Before I continue, a note to everyone who doesn’t have a Valentine (but wants one): Keep the faith. Until I met Kelly, I genuinely thought I would never meet anyone and I would end up lonely. Please, please keep the faith, if I can be lucky enough to meet someone as bonkers as Kelly to marry me, then so can you!!
She’ll be reading this too, so I had better embarrass her completely by saying she is beautiful, caring, amazing, sexy and everything I could ever have hoped for (and more). Thankyou Kelly for being my Wife!
Happy Valentine’s Kelly (And everyone else!)
